Fringe Salon in the Lower East Side had the honor of hosting local artists: Honeychild Coleman + Konstance Patton to perform over the summer in the streets as part of street activism art show. Honeychild played music while Konstance was creating these incredible live paintings.

We also felt like it was a great way to safely bring a community together through the arts. New York City responded strongly after months without live music.

playing in on the street was really soul affirming - it made me realize, wow I really miss playing.

It was amazing to hear live music (safely of course) for the first time in months. It spoke to many people - and moved us. Thank you for sharing with us!
